(Wayne's Projects #15)
Precision computer drawn templates and instructions to help intermediately skilled woodworkers create a simple rocking chair for children. Interestingly enough, the dynamic design requires no glue, screws or nails! 5 interlocking pieces fit neatly together and are locked into place with the 6th piece. You can further use your imagination to decorate the pieces in whatever way you want.
Highest point on back 20 inches
Floor to seat level 9.5 inches
Width of seat 10.5 inches
Length of rocker strut 18 inches
Safety features a ball at the end of the strut reduces backward rocker movement.
Use 18mm plywood (metric size), Baltic Birch, Cherry or any other quality plywood will be suitable.
Using 18mm is a must. Don't use 3/4" as the finished chair will not fit correctly together.
A 5'x5' piece should build 2 chairs

Hi Wayne, The order #1589131279 of "Child's Rocking Chair Plans" finally arrived today March 6 2020, I thank you Wayne for your support, it is much appreciated, also thanks for the extra plan it was certainly unexpected, but thank you and you certainly went out of your way to support my request to purchase the plan, and considering you have never posted your plans to Australia before, so because of your good customer support, I certainly know of some Grand kids that will be extremely pleased. So again Wayne thank you and your customer service is certainly 10 out of 10! PS - the Aussie term is "Good onya mate" Cheers and all the very best! Trevor Logan Portland Victoria Australia

Other than being in metric doesn't convert well at Home Depot this is perfect! Hard to find pattern but so glad I did. Making it as a Christmas present for my granddaughter! One complete chair fits on a 2'x4' sheet of plywood.
